Dr. Kara McGillivray joined the team at Lake Superior Community Health Center in 2020, expanding the Health Center’s areas of practice to include chiropractic care. She graduated in 1994 from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis. She has held a Spinal Trauma certification from the International Chiropractic Association since 1998. Prior to working in a multidisciplinary setting, Dr. McGillivray spent twenty-five years in private practice with her husband, Dr. Greg McGillivray.

Dr. Greg McGillivray joined the team at Lake Superior Community Health Center in 2021 following twenty-five years in private practice with his wife, Dr. Kara McGillivray, who joined LSCHC the year prior. Dr. McGillivray graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University. He holds a Spinal Trauma Certification from the International Chiropractic Association. He has been recognized twice as one of the 10 best chiropractors by the American Institute of Chiropractors. Dr. McGillivray is a strong believer in the value of an integrative health care system, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary clinical team to produce better health outcomes, and promotes evidence based spinal healthcare in every treatment plan he develops with the patients he serves.
