Vaccine Update

Both Minnesota and Wisconsin are relying on community health centers to be central to their statewide mass-vaccination efforts. Lake Superior Community Health Center began vaccinating patients in late January, 2021. To start, LSCHC is reaching out to patients who are 65 years of age or older. If you are 65 or older, and a patient of LSCHC, we will call you when there is an opening available.

We want to assure all patients that we are working as quickly as possible to make doses available for those who want them. We ask that you please remain patient, and continue to wear your mask and stay socially distant, while we work with other vaccinating agencies in the community, as well as state and local health departments, to build the infrastructure needed to take on the monumental task of mass-vaccinations. Your health and well-being remains our highest priority.

We thank you, sincerely, for choosing LSCHC. We will connect with you as soon as there is capacity available to administer your dose of this important, safe, effective COVID-19 Vaccine.

LSCHC continues to receive guidance from both Minnesota and Wisconsin Departments of Health, and will update this post should guidance change.
