Grants, donations, and marketing manager

Lake Superior Community Health Center (LSCHC), dedicated to serving the health needs of low income and underserved communities, has a full time opening for a Grants, Donations and Marketing Manager. Some of the primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Manage all grants-related activities including developing and managing a grants database; writing or overseeing the writing of new and renewing grants; managing relationships with and the budget for external grant writers; collecting and evaluating grant-related data; ensuring that periodic grant reports and invoices are submitted timely; providing grantors with additional information; and ensuring that all grant requirements are met and documented. The manager will also execute all fund-raising activities and initiatives to support LSCHC's strategic and operational priorities. This will include working with the CEO and the Board to establish annual fundraising goals, working with external partners in developing fundraising materials and strategies, cultivating relationships with donors and planning/executing events and activities to meet fundraising goals. The manager will also lead LSCHC's marketing initiatives to support operational and strategic goals. Qualifications include but are not limited to the following: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or related field; previous grants or contracts and project management experience;  advanced computer skills including all Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on Excel and database management; ability to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities and work under deadlines; previous marketing and fund-raising experience preferred, preferably in a health or human services field. Lake Superior Community Health Center (LSCHC), dedicated to serving the needs of low income and underserved communities, has an opening for a 3 full time Licensed Dental Assistant.  The position may require travel between Duluth and Superior dental clinics.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting dentists by serving as chair-side assistant, performing clinical supportive functions, maintaining clinical records, and performing technical and laboratory skills.
Job qualifications include the completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program, an active Dental Assistant License, and a current CPR license. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures, knowledge of routine practices, ability to sterilize equipment and instruments, and the ability to interact with patients and promote trust and confidence.  Strong teamwork ethic is a must.  LSCHC offers competitive wages & excellent benefits.  Submit resume, to lschhumanresources@lschc.org or mail to LSCHC, 4325 Grand Ave, Duluth, MN 55807.
