HR Generalist


Lake Superior Community Health Center (LSCHC), dedicated to serving the health needs of low income and underserved communities, has an opening for an HR Generalist.   The HR Generalist reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for a full range of human resources functions, including administration of recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, employment policy development and implementation, employee relations, training and staff development, and compliance functions.  Also serves as the organization’s Safety Officer.  Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in human resources, business, organizational development or a related field and three or more years of work experience as a human resources generalist including handling confidential employment issues, and coordination with leadership regarding human resources practices.  The candidate should have three or more years of experience with benefit administration, EEO/affirmative action matters, compensation and performance management, and HR information systems, database and reporting tools.  General knowledge of employment law and practices is required and previous experience in a collective bargaining environment is preferred. Certified Medical Assistant with Lab Responsibilities

Lake Superior Community Health Center (LSCHC), dedicated to serving the health needs of low income and underserved communities, has an opening for a Certified Medical Assistant to work in our Duluth Medical Lab. The ideal candidate is an experienced Certified Medical Assistant with Medical Laboratory experience who will perform delegated clinical, clerical, and lab duties within the supervising physician's scope of practice. Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following: graduate of an accredited medical assistant program, current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant with experience working within a medical lab. LICENSED DENTAL ASSISTANT

Lake Superior Community Health Center (LSCHC), dedicated to serving the needs of low income and underserved communities, has an opening for a 3 full time Licensed Dental Assistant.  The position may require travel between Duluth and Superior dental clinics.
The primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting dentists by serving as chair-side assistant, performing clinical supportive functions, maintaining clinical records, and performing technical and laboratory skills.
Job qualifications include the completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program, an active Dental Assistant License, and a current CPR license.
